In the paper we deal with the uniqueness problem of meromorphic functions sharing a finite value with their derivatives. The results in this paper improve those given by Lahiri-Sarkar, Liu-Yang and others. In addition, a recent result of the first present author is complemented in this paper.

In this paper, on the basis of a specific question raised in [6], we further continue our investigations on the uniqueness of a meromorphic function with its higher derivatives sharing two sets and answer the question affi rmatively. Moreover, we exhibit some examples to show the sharpness of some conditions used in our main result.
